My journey to visit various coffee houses in the Kentuckiana area has begun !

I decided for Quills to be the first one on my list.

The atmosphere was what I expected a coffee house should have. Quiet, with music in the background. The tables and seats were arranged for customers to choose to talk to friends or to be alone with their book or electronic devices.

I decided to order my usual, a Cafe Latte. I do have to say a enjoyed it more than a popular chain coffee. Bay ordered an Iced Mocha Coffee, which was good. My son Alex ordered the Alchemist. Besides it having a cool name, it was wonderful.
The blend of various flavors were just right. Espresso, soy milk, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and agave nectar. Yum!! It had just a hint of spicy flavor that did not over power the blend of flavors. I hope they keep this on the menu all year.
